My name is Jane and I breed Oriental shorthairs under the GCCF registered prefix of SOLARUS.

At present I have four queens, two entire males and an assortment of neuters, including two Russian Blues. All the cats have full run of the house with free access to our fully enclosed and cat-proofed garden so that they may enjoy fresh air whenever they please!

I only plan for my girls to have one litter per year in order that they may get back to full fitness and condition between births. My aim is to breed happy, healthy, and well socialized kittens. I handle each kitten with gentleness and love from birth onward to ensure that, whether they are destined for showing, breeding or to be treasured family pets, they will be loving and confident.

Beautiful babies with 'cattitude' are occasionally available to loving and permanent homes and new litters are announced on our nursery page.

I show some of my cats throughout the season and I guess like a lot of other breeders my ultimate ambition is to breed the perfect show cat! However, I do not believe in compromising health for type under any circumstances.

I specialise mainly in Havana, Lilac, Cinnamon and Fawn, with occasional Tabby kittens in the litters from Cally, my Lilac Mackerel queen.
